Unlike most online mattress brands, which are only just beginning to expand their lines with hybrid (foam on coil) options, Helix has long offered more than a dozen hybrid mattresses. We’ve tried two and recommend one: the Helix Plus. Even though the Plus is designed for “big and tall” sleepers, we think it may work well for smaller people, too. Mattresses from other brands won more votes in the blind test we conducted in early 2020 for our foam and hybrid mattress guide, but the Helix Plus’s sturdy materials earned it a spot on our list of Notable contenders.
