In my parents’ house, every day is a day worth celebrating. Whether they’re throwing an effervescent party or quietly cuddling while watching Parts Unknown, my parents always have flutes of bubbly in hand. They have a seemingly endless supply of Champagne stowed away, just waiting for an occasion—any occasion!—to be opened. You’d think they’d go broke with this kind of behavior. But, no, they’ve found the ultimate loophole: Costco.
