Subscribing to a wine club can be fun and convenient, especially if you don’t have access to a good local shop, or you don’t want to stress over which bottles to buy. After researching more than 100 wine clubs, however, we found that many of them overprice their selections and aren’t transparent about the types of bottles they’re selling. With the help of a sommelier, we tried five of the most promising clubs, and we recommend Wine Access, SommSelect, and Martha Stewart Wine Co. Wine Club (as a budget option).
