In the best of times, it’s hard to find a cheap computer with a screen that’s nice to look at, a keyboard and trackpad that are comfortable to use—or just not terrible—and fast-enough performance that won’t leave you waiting for apps and tabs to open. Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and a worldwide silicon chip shortage, the task is almost impossible.
